the_rckI'm wondering why I haven't heard from Scott yet. The movie ran an hour and a half and started at 1:30. It's now 3:50. That seems long enough for the movie to be over even if there were a lot of previews (and I hope, given Cordelia's terror of them, that there weren't many).
The kids were agitating for bubble tea after the movie. Bubble Island is still not open (It's due to reopen on Saturday), so it would have to be TK Wu. Parking down there is difficult and expensive. Scott was very reluctant to go for bubble tea and said that, if they did, he would come back and get me first.
The cleaning lady is here right now. She keeps expanding what she's going to clean which means that she doesn't get done on time (and she won't let me pay her for the extra time). I'm trying to think of a good way to tell her to leave the study alone. We don't use it for much but storage, and Scott's been cleaning it out gradually. The new emptiness means that our cleaning lady want to sweep and mop in there. I'd rather she focus on the stuff we can't deal with ourselves-- Cordelia's sheets, the bathroom, the kitchen.
