Apr. 30th, 2014 08:52 amI put in a trouble report with AT&T. That process was frustrating because one has to know the right subpage to go to to make a report. Going to their main page doesn't give you anything but a please log in box. Logging in isn't necessary to make a trouble report, well not exactly. One doesn't need to log in with a password to make a report, just phone number and billing code.
Cordelia is practicing her viola for the fifth grade's upcoming concert. That's on the 19th. From what I can gather, she only really knows about half of the songs she's supposed to perform. Right now, she's putting in the most work on a bit from The Lord of the Rings that a couple of friends have asked her to perform with them. She can play it banjo style but has real trouble with it using her bow. She doesn't have a lot of patience for practicing-- Fifteen minutes is a long session for her. She did practice before school today because she won't have time to do it after school.
I added another paragraph to my remix. There was a point that would be known to anybody who'd read the original but that wasn't explicit in my version. I wanted to state it because otherwise there's a big dangling story thread.
I roasted a chicken last night. Cordelia said it wasn't as good as the last one we had. I couldn't taste the difference. She still seemed to like it which is good because that chicken is intended as her dinner for the next few days while Scott and I finish off the leftovers from the chicken breasts I cooked badly last week (it came out really, really dry). The best use for that chicken would be making soup, but there's more leftover than we can use in soup. Plus, I don't much want soup (we just finished a large batch of soup). Not that I want to eat that chicken, either. We just can't afford to let it go to waste when it's still edible.
