Scott's father is still in the ICU. Scott's mother reports that he's not sleeping much but is in good spirits. They're trying to get his blood pressure stabilized. It's too low, and they're keeping it up with medications that they don't want to keep him on any longer than necessary. When he leaves the ICU depends on his blood pressure.

Scott's mother told us last night when Scott called (it was her birthday) that they've removed two of the tubes from Scott's father's chest. I don't know how many tubes there were to start with, but it sounds like progress. She also told us that he had a popsicle and is doing his assigned breathing exercises.

Scott's parents set up a page at thestatus.com to keep people up to date on Scott's father's progress. Scott's mother updates that fairly sporadically (she's naturally busy with other things). It's good, though, to see all the support from friends that they're getting. They have a fairly broad circle, pretty much all through their current and previous churches.

I hope he can go home soon. I'm thinking good thoughts on behalf of Scott's family.

I'm not sure of the exact timeline. I know they're going to be in Cleveland still for a while after they let him out of the hospital because he'll still need a lot of medical care.

Cordelia says she misses them. We saw them last on Saturday, and she often goes considerably longer between visits with them, but this time, she knows she can't see them and knows they're not doing anything fun.
