I helped out in the school library today. There was a lot of shelving, but I could get to it right away because the fifth graders weren't checking out books today because they won't be in school next Thursday to return them. The second graders did check out books but were only allowed one this time (down from three). All books are due back next week, but in practice, they'll trickle in over the days between now and the end of the year (June 13th).

I did a little bit of inventory while the second graders were listening to a story. I had a stick to mark where I was on the shelf, and I did 922-952 (Dewey). I'm glad I ran out of time there because the next shelf to do would have required either stooping constantly or taking all the books off the shelf and moving them to a table. I didn't like either option.

The weather is beautiful today. I ought to go out and pull maple seedlings out of the raised beds. I'll be wanting to plant something out there soon enough. I don't know if I'll actually get out there. Inertia is winning, and I've got phone calls to make to try to untangle an insurance billing problem that I don't think ought to be a problem. (Medicare thinks my insurance from the University is primary. The U thinks Medicare is primary. They're both wrong. The insurance I have through Scott is primary. Medicare is secondary. The insurance from the U is tertiary.)

I'd be happy to do some gardening together sometime, plus I think I owe you some ajuga -- e-mail me?

Best wishes for dealing with the insurance mess.
