If I do take my e-reader, I will want fics to read. I have a few long ones on the reader that I put there more than a year ago, but I have no idea if any of them will work for me. Does anybody have recommendations for long fics that are available on AO3? Gen is preferred, but I can probably handle a relationship as long as there's no explicit sex and as long as the relationship isn't all the story's about. I'm willing to try any fandom as long as it's not RPF (and even that I can handle if everybody's been dead at least 100 years).

Post-Avengers MCU recs
Responsible Science by lettered series
This is a Bruce focused series of stories, each self-contained. It's all gen and the theme is exploring Bruce's relationships with the other Avengers, particularly Steve, Natasha and Tony. At the same time, the later stories take some classic tropes - turned into children and groundhog day - does them brilliantly.

Exclusive by copperbadge is a fun outside POV post Avengers. Gen, writing in magazine style, and very well done.

We'll Run Like We're Awesome by themonkeycabal
This is a what if Darcy were Tony's daughter story that fits right into the MCU 'verse. It's well written and a lot of fun.

My bookmarks are pretty under-organized so that's what I have at the moment for long genfic.
