Jun. 3rd, 2014 08:12 pmScott's father has been at home for almost a week. They drove home the day Cordelia and I went to camp. He's to follow up with his own doctor and local specialists. He won't be well enough for the annual Father's Day golf outing, so Scott won't be going either. Being with is father is the whole point of golf for Scott. He doesn't enjoy it for its own sake.
I called my parents the other day and got my step-father. He told me that my mother was napping, that she wasn't feeling well and hadn't been sleeping. I couldn't tell from what he said just how worried I should be. Well, I have some idea. My mother's always been a regular sleeper, asleep at nine and up at five. Something disrupting that-- Well, that's kind of major. I've called back several times, hoping to talk to her, but I keep getting the answering machine which worries me more. The odds of my parents calling me, no matter what's going on, are miniscule.
