I've done no writing this week. I'm not sure why. It's not that I don't have things to work on. I've got four projects I'd like to do something with (one of which has a hard deadline and a recipient) and ideas for what to do with all of them.

I probably won't write tomorrow. Cordelia has a soccer game in the morning, and in the afternoon, there's a gathering for families and staff for the new STEAM school. That'll be our opportunity to meet the new teachers and, hopefully, to connect with some of the other families who'll be at the school in the fall.

I also probably won't write on Sunday. Cordelia's having a friend over for a few hours. There's laundry and the trip to the library and then a Girl Scout meeting to get started on organizing next month's camping trip. The troop leaders want the girls to organize everything from meals to transportation. I can see that it's good for them to get the experience of doing that, but I'm not sure of their ability to get everything done without a lot of hand holding and step by step guidance. After Girl Scouts, there's softball practice.

Scott was hoping to visit his parents this weekend, but I don't see that happening. He'll be working twelve hours tomorrow (3 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and Sunday is full of stuff that must be done at home.

Anyway, the writing-- There's the Not Prime Time story. There's Rheotaxis. There're two works in progress (both Weiss Kreuz) for [livejournal.com profile] weissvsaiyuki. One is a sequel to "Snare;" the other has the working title of "Zombie Apocalypse," but the monsters in it are rather more demonic/cthonic than zombies. They were summoned rather than raised.

All four of these projects interest me. I just can't seem to focus enough to write. I'm going to venture into the Yuletide IRC on Monday and see if anybody's willing to do word wars/writing sprints. I think that might help and at least get me moving on the Not Prime Time story. I've got about seven hundred words of that, and I don't think I'm half done. I've written the shortest sections first.
