the_rckI am deliberately letting some exchanges pass me by right now. There are three that look interesting, but I want to work on other projects. I'm going to exercise self-restraint and not sign up for Parallels or Fic Corner or the new exchange Crossovering (that last is less tempting because I'm not sure I could manage many of the fandoms involved). If I can hold to my good intentions, I won't sign up for anything else until Yuletide, and I'll consider very seriously before I sign up for that.
I signed up for Remix and Not Prime Time even though I'd meant to avoid exchanges and challenges this year. Remix drew me in because there hadn't been one last year and because it's so much fun. Not Prime Time got me because I still want the things I asked for last year and didn't get (My requests went to the pinch hitters, and nobody offered to pick them up. I ended up coming up with a completely different set of requests in order to make it possible to match me. I got a good story, but it was less than satisfying).
