Jun. 18th, 2014 07:56 amCordelia has been invited to a sleepover tonight. She wants to go, but she's weepy and clingy and talks about how much she's going to miss me. We've packed everything, including her iPad, and she's taking it all with her to camp. Hopefully, there's a good place for her to stash it so that she doesn't have to tote it around all day.
We've had storms through pretty much all night since about midnight. The sidewalk to the driveway is lower than the surrounding grass, so it's got a couple of centimeters of water on it. The crabapple tree broke some time during the night. About half of it broke off. I think, this time, it really is done. I've said that before, and it's kept going, but there's really not much of it left. I think Scott and I will have to hire someone to take the rest of it down. There's an arborist with kids in Cordelia's school. We'll probably call her.
I woke with a headache this morning. I've taken some Tylenol. I'm waiting to see if that helps before I take any Amerge (expensive migraine medicine). It can be hard to tell an ordinary headache from a migraine. I may lie down after Cordelia leaves for camp.
Cordelia's less down on camp right now because she won two candy bars and a bottle of gatorade yesterday. I think she won those in drawings of some sort, but I'm not really clear on it.
I'm slowly putting my stories on fanfiction.net. I'm allowed to post two a day for the first ten days. I'm not sure about after that. I've posted a couple of Narnia stories because I felt like it, but I'm mostly planning to post my more obscure stuff first. The difficulty is deciding what qualifies as 'most obscure.' I've started with the two that have to go in Misc Books and with my crossovers. If I go by hit counts on AO3, the most obscure stuff is some Weiss Kreuz gen. I suspect that, if I go by AO3 kudos, the most obscure will still be Weiss Kreuz gen. It doesn't get much love. I'm not sure I should go that way, however. Weiss Kreuz is a pretty big category on fanfiction.net.

Date: 2014-06-19 08:39 pm (UTC)All my other Narnia stories are pretty firmly K (I suppose "In Exile" might go to K+ for Prunaprismia's willingness to kill Caspian and for her fear that Caspian will kill her son).
I've got a good bit on non-Narnia stuff that's M for various reasons. I'm being conservative and excluding anything I think might even vaguely rate an MA. My fear is that that will come as a shock to people who started following me because of the guinea pic fic. (They may also be shocked to discover that I write slash. Perhaps leading with my most overtly Christian story wasn't wise.)
