the_rckCordelia has found Shake It Up! on Netflix streaming and is rewatching the show from the first episode. I was glad when that show wrapped up on Disney channel, so I'm not thrilled. Of course, one Disney channel sit-com is very much like another, so I don't suppose it matters which one she's watching. They all hit my embarrassment buttons (I don't know if I should take it all the way to calling it a squick).
Scott thinks he'll have most of the weekend off. He's scheduled to work 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. tomorrow, but he thinks he won't have to work more than that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It would be nice to have the full weekend. Cordelia wants to have friends over, too, and we're waiting to invite them until we know Scott's schedule.
Of course, regardless of Scott's schedule, I'd like to go to the library on Saturday. I have a hold that expires at the end of the day on Saturday and a DVD that can't be renewed due that day. If we keep it an extra day, it'll cost us a dollar. That's not much, but I'd rather not have to pay it. And Sunday is usually a better day for these friends to come over. They have religious school on Saturdays. I don't know if that's still true during the summer, but it's true all through the school year.
I'm still posting slowly on fanfiction.net. Today, I posted my first M rated fic. I'd call it a T, but I'm being conservative. It's an Amber fic about Brand having an affair with a Shadow of himself, and I think that has sort of incesty overtones. It's a pretty tame fic, only vaguely implied sex, no swearing, no violence.
