the_rckScott had to work 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. today, but he has the rest of the weekend clear. We've been warned not to expect any more full weekends this summer, though, so there's that. Scott tells me that the cider bottle orders are already coming in which is highly unusual. Those don't generally start until it's time to harvest the apples.
I've almost finished posting my fics to fanfiction.net. Most of the Weiss Kreuz stuff won't go up there as it doesn't meet their content restrictions. I'm still trying to make up my mind about the fics in the Torsion series. There's no explicit content, but there are some very adult themes.
I am getting more comments on some of the fics I've posted than I get on AO3 or my website. Unfortunately, a lot of them are urging me to write more of the particular fic being commented on. It's always hard to respond to that because it's a compliment of sorts but I have no intention of writing more of any of these stories. I have so many things I want to write that I can't keep up.
Speaking of things I don't want to write-- I'm still working on a fragment of Occlusion because the words are flowing and the dratted thing wants to be written. Why couldn't this happen with something else?

weissvsaiyuki. I asked the moderator for guidance, and she gave some, but it comes down to whether or not I think the stories fit the themes well enough. The one I thought fit better turns out to be iffier because, while it has clearer fantasy elements, it hews closely to canon, just with new layers. The theme is 'fantasy AU,' and the 'AU' part matters. I'm not sure I can fit it to any other theme, either. I need to look at the other themes again.
