The Not Prime Time archive opened yesterday around noon (Eastern daylight). I got a nice story for The Pretender. I haven't heard anything from my recipient yet, and it's making me nervous. They didn't write a dear author letter. All I had to go on was the character request and a single sentence. I could easily have hit something they strongly dislike. I did look at their fic on AO3, but it was all for fandoms I know nothing about. I think I found their journal, but it was just fic.

I think I wrote a good story. I just don't know if it's what my recipient wanted.

Oh, well. It's early yet. There are all sorts of reasons they might not have had a chance to read the story yet.

I haven't got a response yet either; and my request was one of those one-liners starring characters the fandom at large is mostly disinterested in because they had like, two minutes of screentime. So not only do I have no comment from my recipient ... I'm also not getting any comments from anyone else. Very nervewracking. :)
