the_rckCordelia is bored, and she's taking it out on us. Her neighborhood friends aren't available today, so she wants to do something, anything, interesting. She's demanding to go to the library even though we'll have to go back tomorrow (more holds coming in). Scott does have some errands to run, so he's suggested that he drop me and Cordelia off at the library while he goes off to buy what he needs to buy. I'm not enthusiastic.
The STEAM school mailing list for families of sixth graders suggested a gathering this afternoon. Cordelia would probably love it, but it's at a pool, and I'm really not interested. Of course, other gatherings may well be at times when we can't go, so I don't know.
We're lucky, though. Scott has this whole weekend off. He didn't even have to work 3-7 this morning. One of the machines they were going to run broke down, so they cut back on the hours they needed this weekend. Of course, this means more work after they repair the machine, so we'll be lucky to get one day next weekend.
