I almost forgot my coffee yesterday morning. I showered and toasted a bagel and completely forgot to boil water for coffee. It wasn't until about noon that I realized I hadn't yet had my daily dose of caffeine. Showering throws everything off, but I usually remember coffee.
Scott had to go in to work early yesterday and today. We still don't know about the weekend, but he's not optimistic. I wish he could find some other job that paid as well but had a more regular schedule. Unfortunately, opportunities are thin on the ground.
I just finished reading a Harry Potter fic that should have been the purest crack, but the author treated their premise with great seriousness and stretched the story beyond the length the premise could really support. I shan't be logging this one because I can't really recommend it. I mean I enjoyed it enough to read 400 pages, but I'm not sure I didn't finish it simply because I'm stubborn. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it never did.
Cordelia has been playing Mario Kart a lot the last day or so. She's improved so much from where she used to be when she first started. Then she was lucky not to come in last. Now, she consistently wins or places second or third. Having that going on the TV is distracting. I can't seem to look away.

ushobwri. The themes are pretty broad, so I ought to be able to do something with one of them. I'm thinking to do either 'time travel' (I love time travel fics, but I've never tried writing one) or 'unwanted transformation' (there's backstory for something I'm working on that would fit). I'm just feeling kind of burnt out with writing not appealing to me in the least. Posting for this challenge starts on the 16th (I'm not sure when it ends. The post for the challenge doesn't say).
