And the roof folks called. They want to do the roof tomorrow instead of Thursday. I said it was fine, but it does mean that I'll be home for the whole process. It also means that I'll likely be in the shower when they arrive. I shower every third day (my hair takes hours to dry), and I'm due tomorrow. There aren't any windows they can see in through, so I'm not worried about that. I just feel like it puts me at a disadvantage. I could put off showering until Thursday and just live with being grubby, but that would mean showering on Saturday not this weekend but the weekend after, and, although we have no soccer game this Saturday, we have on on the 27th. That game is at 1:45, though, so if I get up early, my hair should be dry by game time. I just don't want to get up early.

We did not need to be home for either our roofing job or our exterior powerwash and paint job. If you ask the question, you might not have to stick around.

I don't have to be there. They've told me that. It's simply that I have no options as to places to go. On Thursdays, I spend part of the day out of the house and so could escape about three hours of the noise. On Wednesdays, I don't go anywhere.
