the_rckThere's been a change in plans. Instead of everybody coming down to Ann Arbor for breakfast, we're going to meet in Brighton for an early lunch. Brighton is on the way to East Lansing both from Ann Arbor and from Farmington Hills, where Mom and company spent the night.
My brother showed up at our place last night around six. He was under the impression that everybody was gathering here before going to Farmington Hills. We had a nice visit. He told us about his job and his house and the new (used) car he just bought. We offered him dinner, but he said he'd already eaten.
Cordelia decided she didn't want to wear a dress to the service. I didn't feel it was important enough to make her. She's wearing clothes that are clean and neat. That's enough. I don't expect most people will be dressed up. I'm wearing a black dress mainly because I have one and might as well. Apart from being black and pocketless, it's just like the dresses I wear every day.
