the_rckScott has caught Cordelia's cold. I'm still not sure if I have. I wasn't feeling great yesterday morning, so I napped (instead of Yuletide canon review). I felt quite a bit better when I woke up, so I'm not sure whether or not I have the cold. Of course, what with Scott having it, I'm likely to catch it from him.
Cordelia thinks that, because she's almost done with her cold, people catching it from her won't get it as badly as she did. That is, she thinks that they'll get it at the level she currently has it rather than starting from the miserable beginning.
Scott has to go in to work early tomorrow and early on Saturday. He's not pleased by the overtime because he's exhausted. The cold is really, really not helping. Not that going in early is high on his list of things to do even when he's well.
I'm only about halfway through my canon review for Yuletide. I should be further along, but I keep letting myself get distracted. Hopefully I can make better progress today. I need to do![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
metanews link finding, and I need to get out to vote, but I should have some time. The two extra kids I'm expecting shouldn't be that big a distraction.
The biggest problem I expect to have today is that it may be raining when I want to go vote. I can only find one umbrella, so most of us will get soaked in the fifteen minute walk to our polling place. We're currently waiting for Cordelia's friends to show up. I'm starting to wonder if they're coming because they're half an hour late. The last time that happened, one of them had gotten sick, and one of their parents stayed home with them. I just wish they'd let me know what's going on.
