I finally got around to rereading the LARP. I think I've got a decent grasp on who's doing what. I've made lists, one of which characters depend on each other and one of my priority for casting. I really hope we get at least fifteen players, but I can't count on it. It's just that there's a character I'd like to see played who is in no way essential for the game. If we get fifteen players, he gets played. If not, not.

Scott needed to be ready to go in early this morning. Unfortunately, nobody answered when he called in to see if they needed him, so he drove all the way there and then all the way back for another hour and a half of sleep.

I spent three hours this morning working on the inventory in the book room. We're trying to get that done this week, and I've signed up for about nine hours (actually twelve, but I don't think I'm going to be up to four hour stints. I'll just stop at three hours each day). I worked alone all morning. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do to get started, but I found a sheet with the directions for getting to the Google spreadsheet where we're entering all of the titles. Then I asked the librarian where I should go to get a laptop for the process. She gave me one to use.

I stopped after three hours because I was worn out and because I hit some things I didn't know how to deal with. I have no idea if the women coming in this afternoon knew what to do either, but at least they were starting out fresh.

Cordelia had a dental appointment at 3:30. I forgot to write her a note this morning, so I had to call the school around lunch time when I remembered. Fortunately, they were okay with that.

It started raining as I was walking to the school to get Cordelia. I was really torn. I was afraid we'd get soaked, but it wasn't raining very hard just then. In the end, I wimped out and called a cab which naturally didn't come until after school actually let out. I told the cab company to have the cabbie call me because I didn't want him pulling into the lot while the buses were present, but he didn't bother to call, so we contributed to the lot being unsafe while the kids were boarding the buses.

Scott picked us up after the appointment. He actually came while Cordelia was still being seen and went off to do some Ingress while waiting. He got himself up to fifth level for his trouble. We stopped and picked up bubble tea on our way home.
