Jan. 16th, 2015 02:41 pmBody Electric today was challenging. There was one exercise that I couldn't have done even when I was in better shape because my arms are too short. That was for the triceps, so I did a little bit of another tricep exercise during that part of the show. The next exercise was a rotator cuff thing that needed really light weights. I used my lightest (2 pounds each) but still had to put down the weights halfway through. The third exercise was an abdominal thing involving lifting and lowering the legs. My legs started complaining before my abdominal muscles did (they're still sore from Tuesday's exercises). The final exercise was for the inner thighs. That was a lot harder than I remember it being before. I suspect that, when I started before, having done Sit and Be Fit for so long actually helped some.
I was still pretty sore from Monday and Tuesday when I started today's Body Electric. I suspect I'm going to spend a lot of time sore for a while. I just can't figure out why my biceps hurt. There hasn't been a bicep exercise in the episodes I've done this week (though there were two tricep exercises. Maybe that did it).
