Mostly, yesterday, I wrote. The words kept coming. They didn't come very fast-- I think I wrote about 2000 words total-- but there were always more of them waiting. I'm not sure how well the dratted thing works, and I'm not sure who I could have take a look at it. It's Harry Potter fic, and I don't know that I know anybody who's still in that fandom. It's been a long time since I wrote explicit sex, and I don't know that I've ever previously written explicit het.

Scott and Cordelia went out about 4:00 to run some errands. Cordelia wanted more bands for her Rainbow Loom, and Scott was after a new shower rod and toilet paper. They were gone for a couple of hours, and I had no idea when they'd be back, so I didn't start dinner. We ended up ordering pizza.

Cottage Inn is using a new sauce on the chicken teriyaki pizza, and I don't like it. The old one was kind of sweet. This new one leaves my mouth burning. It didn't give me reflux, at least, but I was very much afraid that it would. I did end up dropping my plate with two pieces of pizza on it and having to throw them out. That was frustrating as it meant fewer leftovers (not to mention a big mess to clean up-- The chicken teriyaki pizza has sesame seeds on the crust, lots of sesame seeds).

Scott's birthday is Tuesday, and he's taken Monday and Tuesday both off of work. I suspect he and I will watch a lot of Leverage as we have a DVD from Netflix that we haven't touched yet.

I am still in HP fandom!!

This is a divergent AU that splits off during Half-Blood Prince. It's set six or seven years after that. It features a somewhat dark trio. It's a little trippy because my two point of view characters aren't entirely connected to everyone else's reality (though I'm a little afraid I lost the voice in the middle of chapter 4). There's rape and brutality in chapter 1 and references to it in chapter 3. There's dubious consent and explicit sex in chapter 4.

I can definitely understand if that doesn't sound like something you'd want to read.

Several years ago, I wrote a sort of prequel story. Not everything in it is something I'm necessarily going to keep as canon for the main story, but it does contain some information that might make the some parts of the main story clearer. It's a G rated gen crossover with The Sandman and xxxHOLIC, but I don't think you need to know either of those canons to understand the story. It is Luna's point of view, and I kind of feel like I ought to warn for that.

That story is on AO3. It's about 3000 words.

Brutality might be a little tough - are we talking, like, harm to infants and children here? - but I mean I can always skim past it.

No harm to children or infants. I don't deal with that well myself. This is specifically Harry trying to hurt Draco as badly as he can. It's not incredibly detailed.

I still haven't figured out what to do about the horcruxes, though.

Would you like me to put the chapters on Google docs or send them to you via email? I've been writing in Pages, but I could cut and paste into TextEdit which saves as .rtf. LibreOffice won't read TextEdit documents, however.

There are four chapters. They run between six and eight thousand words each.

I read Harry Potter fic but I only got as far as the Prisoner of Azkaban? so I doubt I would be very helpful.
