the_rckThere were four kids at swim class last night. Delia once again put her face in the water briefly, but she spent most of her time being careful to keep her face dry.
Yesterday, the school had a special program going. It was National African American Parent Involvement Day. All the stuff coming home about it emphasized that parents of all races were encouraged to attend, and Delia said she wanted me to go. I was reluctant because it sounded long and boring and because I was due for a shower (I get up, get dressed, get Delia to school then come home and shower. My hair takes four hours to dry). Nevertheless, I prepared for a full day at school. Then, after I'd signed in at the office, Delia abruptly changed her mind and told me to go home. I have no idea why. Maybe she just wanted to see whether or not I was willing to stay.
I'm pondering my Weiss Day assignment. I need to start writing fairly quickly, but I also need a few days to let ideas stew. I think I know where to start, more or less, but I also think my lack of knowledge of everything but the anime is going to bite me. Ah, well, with luck, my recipient is also anime canon focused and won't be expecting details from the manga or the CDs.
