Delia has been tucking in her stuffed animals at night. She's using her baby blankets for it. There are two distinct clusters, each with a separate blanket and a very clear division of who goes where. She sets them up again every night because she takes the blankets and a couple of the stuffed animals down every evening so that she can make a nest in a large cardboard box to listen to Scott read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

She and Scott have also been playing on our bed. They toss a pillow back and forth with Delia trying to get it past Scott and over the foot of the bed. Delia also climbs on Scott's arms so that he can lift her up. He can only lift her a few times, but she thinks it's the best thing ever.

Delia's classes are still continuing. Swim class has two sessions left. She's gotten to the point where she'll put her face in the water a couple of times a session. She still hates it, but she does it. Chinese class will continue into April. She loves it. I'm not sure how much she's learning, but she's enjoying herself. Basketball class ends this week and has been less successful-- It's been a lot of drills and no scrimmages. Delia has complained that it's not much fun (though she seems to be having fun when I go to pick her up).

The second Rock Hunters practice was, I think, less successful than the first. Both kids would rather look at rocks than hear me talk facts about rocks or look at pictures of rocks. There's so much memorization needed for this event (though some of the other events looked to be even worse), and the kids don't want to do it. I'd like them to have fun. I hope they don't mind not knowing the answers when it comes to the actual event. I wouldn't find being unprepared fun, but I think neither kid has any concept of what the event will be like. They just know that rocks are neat.
