Apr. 13th, 2011 09:18 amI have a completed draft of my Remix fic. Now I'm just waiting to get it back from the beta reader. It's far from the best thing I've ever written, but it is complete, and I don't think it's awful.
I'm dithering about whether or not to sign up for Finish-a-thon 2011. I've completed two good fics through the Finish-a-thon, but I skipped last year and have considerably fewer plotbunnies to offer up this year. I eliminated anything that would require me to write sex or violence as I can't seem to manage either right now.
If anybody's interested in the Finish-a-thon, sign ups are open for a couple more days (they close some time on Friday in my time zone). The last I heard, not many people had signed up. I find it an interesting process-- One lists the fics one would like to work on, and then other people vote as to which fic one should work on. When the voting's done, one writes the winner. It does require being on LJ to participate, and I know that's a barrier to some.
