Does anyone here use Letterboxd? I can't quite get a sense of what one's supposed to use it for if one's not interested in the social networking part of it. I don't watch many movies, and I'm unlikely to review any, and I'm definitely not likely to want to connect to other people there. I have the impression that it doesn't offer movie recommendations except through reading other people's reviews and guessing whether or not their tastes align with one's own. That seems most likely to lead me to movies I've already heard of and am interested in. In my experience, browsing a large database is a poor way to find things of interest.
