Scott's mother has a friend who had a lumpectomy at the U of M Cancer Center in January. Well, the actual surgery was apparently done at East Ann Arbor which is okay as long as I have someone to give me a ride. I just hope that most of my care won't be there. The city buses don't go there, so it would mean either importuning a friend or getting a cab.
Scott's mother's friend is named Nancy. She apparently had very little support from her general physician, just a well, you have cancer; you might want to do something about that. Nancy had to find a place to get treatment entirely on her own. She did say that, in her experience, the folks at the Cancer Center were very kind and helpful and good about telling her what she needed to know.
I have emailed my doctor to ask for advice about the headache. Her office called back, and I'm to go in at three. That gives me twenty minutes to eat and get ready to go. Hopefully the cab won't be too late in coming.
My sister and Nancy both agree that I'm going to need zipper front sports bras. Those are really hard to find in 44DDD. I've found one website that offers them, but I'm getting conflicting advice about sizing. I actually tried talking to one of their sizing people, but the chat interface was buggy. I couldn't scroll up or down, and the most recent comment was never visible to me, just the next to most recent. The woman I talked to suggested calling instead, so I'll probably end up doing that eventually.
