Why on earth would the University not list clinic fax numbers on the web pages for those clinics? Is there a huge problem with prank faxes or something? I had to call two different clinics in order to get fax numbers, and it involved a good bit of time on hold. What a ridiculous waste of time.

On the plus side, I've almost finished with the packet the Cancer Center sent me. On the minus side, the stuff about lymph nodes is more than a little scary. I'm pretty sure they'll need to check my lymph nodes. I'm just hoping they can do the most minimally invasive method. That would still be a PITA, but it has a lot fewer potential long term side effects.

They want a list of all my doctors. Would it be horribly weird or unprofessional to list my SIL? I'm not her patient, but I do want to share information with her and get her opinion.

Okay, time to get Cordelia out of her room and make her eat lunch. We need to be ready to leave in an hour.

I'd put her name on the list just in case. I don't think it can do any harm.

I don't think that it would be a problem to list your SiL. People talk about me as their attorney all the time even though it's *just* because they are related to me. In this case, your SiL is giving you some medical advice, though she's not the treating physician in all respects. They may want to request any medical records that she would have on you, but if she doesn't have them to send, she won't send them. :)

I second what Lady of Mists says: I think listing your sister-in-law would be fine.
