Does anyone know-- Is there any way to get Slings & Arrows with closed captions? I tried the first DVD from the library some time back and simply couldn't follow it without subtitles. I had the same problem with I, Claudius, but having read the book, I feel like I'm missing a bit less by giving up after a single episode. (Though I'd still be very interested in I, Claudius with captioning if anybody can hook me up.)

My DVDs do not have captions either. Just a data point. I'm in the US.

My DVDs are the boxed set from Acorn Media from 2006. Maybe there's a newer one with closed captions?

I think Netflix might have added their own closed captions -- didn't they agree to do that across the board recently?

Good luck!

What a patchwork!

I always look for captions, because my husband has a great deal of hearing loss and he really relies on them, especially for unfamiliar material.
