Sep. 21st, 2015 09:15 pmDoes anyone know-- Is there any way to get Slings & Arrows with closed captions? I tried the first DVD from the library some time back and simply couldn't follow it without subtitles. I had the same problem with I, Claudius, but having read the book, I feel like I'm missing a bit less by giving up after a single episode. (Though I'd still be very interested in I, Claudius with captioning if anybody can hook me up.)

Date: 2015-09-23 07:57 pm (UTC)Amazon claims that both the DVD and the Blu-ray editions have captioning, though. Maybe they added it for later editions? Maybe Amazon's lying or incorrect? Netflix says that the same DVD edition (as far as I can tell) doesn't have captioning.
That doesn't help the fact that my local library has an edition without captioning. I am reluctant to purchase the show without having seen it, and I can't watch it without captioning.

Good luck!
