Oct. 3rd, 2015 04:57 pmScott just found that missing DVD, the one I mentioned earlier this week. It was in our Blu-ray player which is not something that would have occurred to me in a million years. Of course, now I remember-- Our DVD remote went missing that day. My mother bought us a replacement the next day, but we watched that movie that night and had to use the Blu-ray player because our DVD player is poorly designed. It's not possible to navigate menus without a remote.
I'm not pleased with our new DVD remote as it can't turn subtitles on and off or change the audio track. I'm not sure how to get it to advance or go back chapters, but I think there must be a way to do it.
Scott hasn't had time to look for the old remote, and I haven't been up to trying. It will require moving furniture.
We're using the Blu-ray player today because Scott bought Age of Ultron on Blu-ray. I'm not managing to pay attention to the movie, but I didn't really expect I would. I tend to be eh-whatever about action sequences.
