Oh, I forgot to mention— My sister’s surgery went well. She emailed me at about noon to tell me that she was at home. She wasn’t expecting to be home until 3:00 or even 4:00. She says she’s feeling great, but I’m not sure how much of that is the painkillers talking. I suppose we’ll see how she’s doing in a couple of days.

I’m a little surprised that Mom didn’t fly in for this surgery. I’d expect it to leave my sister with a limited range of motion for while, not as much as the mastectomy but still.
