Dec. 13th, 2015 03:58 amOkay, it is now, finally, officially a stone. They apparently asked Scott if he was capable of going home and then were worried when he said he really had no idea. So now they’re calling in someone from Urology. I suppose they didn’t before because they weren’t sure it was actually a stone.
If he’s having break through pain while he’s on morphine, I’m pretty worried about his pain levels if he comes home, especially given that there really aren’t any pharmacies that we can get to until morning, and then only if he can drive or if we can find someone else who can help out. Our pharmacy won’t open until 10, and I kind of doubt that we would have an easy time finding one that opens earlier given the time of night and how groggy I am.
The hospital has a pharmacy for filling prescriptions, but I can’t find anything at all about the hours, just a map. If it is open now, it might be an option, assumings someone is able to help Scott get there and then get home. I don’t know how long he can stand up right now. I’m really hoping that they don’t make him call his own cab home. He didn’t take his coat, so even though it’s in the 50s right now, I’d rather he didn’t sit outside for half an hour to an hour, waiting.
Still, if they’re talking about sending him home, I probably don’t have to rush to the hospital right now.
