Yesterday was actually not a bad day. I got some writing done, we ordered pizza for dinner, and we had friends over in the evening.

With the friends, we talked for a while then undertook a Pandemic game. We lost, of course, even playing on the easiest settings, but we did pretty well, and I think everyone had fun. I haven’t mastered the game well enough to really know what I’m doing. Scott and [personal profile] cherydactyl are both experienced players, but I’d only played once previously (and not an entire game), and the other guy hadn’t ever played before.

After our friends left, Scott and I watched The Daily Show and the rest of Agent Carter. We probably shouldn’t have gone all the way to the end of Agent Carter because that didn’t end until about 10:45 and we want to be in bed at 11:00. I can manage getting to bed in fifteen minutes, but Scott’s needs a half hour, minimum.

I did my PT less often yesterday than I had planned, and today is going to be more of the same. I’ve got about twenty minutes before I need to call for a cab, and I need to use that time to get dressed and get some laundry in and otherwise prepare for the cleaning lady. I should be home before she comes, barring her coming early, but it could be very close. I’m hoping I do get back before she arrives because lunch becomes hugely difficult once she’s here because she starts cleaning in the kitchen and takes over an hour in there.

Scott keeps adding new things to his wishlist, things that he and I both know I’m the only one likely to buy for him. I want very much to buy more for him, but I already spent $160 on his presents ($120 for the pressure cooker and $40 for a big set of drill bits to replace the ones that rusted). I probably could have left the drill bits; they’re the sort of thing his parents might buy, but his parents have been ignoring wishlists entirely (while still demanding that we give them lists), so I don’t know.

Okay. Time for laundry and tooth brushing and all of that.
