the_rckStarting at about 3:30 today, I'll be offline for a while, through Tuesday the 9th. This means that I'll miss the stories going live for Parallels Fic. If you're my writer for that, I apologize. I'm sure I'll love my story as soon as I get a chance to take a look.
Delia and I are going to be visiting relatives. First, we'll be with my mother and stepfather in the house they've rented on a lake. Then we'll be with my grandmother and father. My sister will fly in this afternoon and is renting a car. She'll be doing most of the driving. Scott will take us far enough to meet up with her in Marshall. She's flying in to Flint, and coming to Ann Arbor to get us would be out of her way. Scott will also need to drive to Flint on Tuesday to retrieve us. My sister and father fly out of Flint on Wednesday and plan to spend Tuesday night at a hotel in the area.
I'm looking forward to seeing everybody, but I'm rather expecting to be bored a good portion of the time. I don't swim in lakes due to anxiety (I may have to fight that for Delia's sake. I'll take my bathing suit and hope), and I'm trying not to take many books because of the bulk. If I have time later today, around all the other stuff I must do, I'll go to Project Gutenberg and download some books (suggestions would be welcomed! I have no idea what to get).
I do hope to do some writing while we're gone. We'll see if that works out.
