Remember how I said nothing happened on Sunday? I had forgotten-- A friend of ours from out of town stopped by to introduce us to his fiancee. It was good to see Randall again and to meet Shawn. Delia found the whole process boring and went into the basement to watch a movie (this meant that I didn't have to watch Cinderella II, so I quite approved). Shawn seems like a nice woman, and she and Randall are obviously happy together. I'm pleased for them.

We probably won't be able to go to the wedding which is in March in DC, so I'm particularly glad of the chance to see them.

I've purchased and packed the candy for the Yuletide candy swap. It just needs to go to the post office. That may not happen this week, but I'm hoping. The book swap is waiting, pending receipt of my recipient's address and more definite word as to which of the possible books I might send sounds most interesting. I'll have to keep checking my mailboxes. Gmail labeled the message from my candy recipient that contained his address as junk mail.

I seem to recall he used Drake at one time. I don't know any other Randalls, so I don't remember differentiaters.
