Jul. 3rd, 2016 11:01 amI think the headache is gone. I hope it is. I’m still exhausted, and I’ve got headache hangover that’s making thinking hard. Those two combine to make me wonder if the headache is just lurking, waiting to re-emerge.
Scott and I ended up going to an extended hours clinic yesterday. It’s not affiliated with the UMHS, so they didn’t have my records which meant the whole thing took a lot longer than it otherwise might have. The conclusion was that there wasn’t anything serious underlying the headache. The doctor said it probably was a reaction to having the IUD removed. He offered my toradol for the pain and zofran for the nausea. I refused both because of past experience. Toradol doesn’t help my pain and gives me thirty six hours of runny nose and sneezing. Zofran may help nausea, but it gives me a headache much, much worse than what I already had.
At any rate, the trip to the clinic pretty much killed the day in terms of Scott getting anything else done. That means there’s a lot to be done today— groceries, library, lawn mowing, the dehumidifier. I’m pretty sure there are other things, too. I’m just kind of blanking on them.
