I made it in for the fasting blood draw this morning. I ended up leaving a lot later than I had planned because it took longer to get things done this morning and then my sister called and we talked for nearly an hour. As far as I could find out online, there’s no upward limit for how long to fast before a fasting blood draw, so I suppose me getting there an hour a half after I had planned to isn’t that big a deal.

I ended up walking to the stop on Division to catch the #22. I kept thinking that I probably shouldn’t or that I wouldn’t make it, but I did. It was hot enough that, even though I’d brought a sandwich, I couldn’t bring myself to stop and eat it. I just wanted to get home.

Scott did not have to go in early today. I have no idea about tomorrow or Saturday. He’s pretty sure he’ll be at work until 5:00 today and tomorrow no matter what other overtime is involved. He’s supposed to get off work at 3:00.

Right now, I kind of want to lie down and nap, but the cleaning lady will arrive in five to ten minutes, so that’s not going to happen. I haven’t managed to get all the things done in preparation for her arrival that I normally would. My muscles feel rubbery and not at all like I can do the things that I need to.

You've had a busy day already. I hope you feel up to doing things soon.

Take it easy. Fasting probably made you tire more easily...

A nap definitely sounds in order. I hope you feel better soon.
