Jul. 16th, 2016 11:45 amI wrote a little more yesterday, ending up a bit over 500 words for the day, all of it on the WIP Big Bang.
Cordelia ended up buying two books at Book Bound, one by an author she’s read before and liked-- Keira Cass, I think-- and one a complete shot in the dark. That second one is about Latin American political refugees.
I woke with a migraine again this morning. The pain is mostly gone, but I’m very, very groggy, and just about everything seems too physically difficult to contemplate. I’m a little surprised I can type. I don’t know if these migraines are more fallout from removing the IUD of if, sideways from that, this means that I’ve got a period coming soon that will be a lot different from what I got used to in ten years with an IUD. Or it could be something else altogether.
I took a longish walk yesterday evening. It was only about 70F at the time (after dark). I was going to walk just to the church and back, but I decided that I could manage going a little further and ended up going as far as the science center parking lot (going further would have meant uneven footing in the dark. That seemed unwise). Scott didn’t come with me because he was exhausted after more than twelve hours at work and because Cordelia wasn’t feeling well. She felt bad enough to go to bed about three hours earlier than she’d normally even consider.
Today, I must shower, make a grocery list, write, do laundry, and do dishes. I think everything else can wait. I hope so, anyway, since I kind of doubt I’m going to get to everything already on my list.
