Gah. This book on CD that I’m listening to is kind of broken. The last second or two of every track is silent but obviously contains words because there are gaps in the narrative. I think they’re tiny gaps, but they could be huge for all I can tell. They’re a little confusing because they’re generally transitional. I also don’t entirely like the reader’s voice. This is a book that I’m very interested in but that I’ve failed to read in paper twice. I’ve gotten further with the audiobook than I did with the paper, but I don’t know if I’ll make it to the end.

It's a library book, so yes, I can take it back. I'm not sure, though, that the library can get a refund. They've had the dratted thing for years.
