Anyone willing to beta read 2800 words of Chronicles of Amber fic with Merlin/Jasra dubcon (Jasra captured Merlin) looming in the background? There's no violence or overt nastiness beyond the background situation. It's just conversation, kind of tense conversation but nevertheless. Oh, and there are babies. I know that's a dealbreaker for some people.

I'm not quite done, but I don't expect more than another two or three paragraphs.

I'm going to bed now, so I won't get back to anyone until morning.

How would you like access? I have it posted, access locked, on another DW acount, and I could give you access. I could put in in Gdocs and give you access. I could email you the file.

I've written in TextEdit which plays reasonably nicely with Pages or Word but does unfortunate things to the formatting when opened in LibreOffice. I can put the text into Pages or into plain text pretty easily if one of those would be better.

I expect to be on the road a lot of tomorrow because we've got a five or six hour drive, depending on traffic, with an hour or two stop to have lunch with my parents on the way. The hotel promises 'free internet in the rooms,' so I'm assuming I'll have that.

I think that the beginning may need some tweaking in tone because I was expecting to write a quite different story than the one I produced, but the things Merlin says there are actually important, so I'm torn. I will look forward to your opinion.

Oh, and the story came out to 2770 words, so my estimate of 2800 was pretty close.
