the_rckOur printer is still on our old wifi network, and I didn’t write down the password, so I can’t change the dratted thing over. Going back to the old network with my laptop and trying to print didn’t work, either. The printer is temperamental at the best of times and generally has to be turned off and on again before each batch of printing. I just wanted to print a grocery list template (Scott has organized things according to aisles/sections and wants me to put things in the place where he’ll find them).
The cleaning lady spent a lot of time working on Cordelia’s room yesterday and even got Cordelia to help. I hadn’t realized how much crap was still in there, but we have a trash bag filled and a bin of stuff that went to the basement and a bunch of other things to get rid of.
I was awakened by a phone call again this morning. It wasn’t even spam, just dead air. Well, I suppose those are spam, too.
I slept badly last night, with lots of tossing and turning and some coughing. It was just a deep tickle/irritation as opposed to anything that coughing could actually help. Scott slept badly too. The head gear for his bi-PAP kept slipping. He thinks that getting his hair cut will help that, but we’re not sure when he’ll be able to get that done.
My knee is still hurting, a bit more than yesterday even. I think that walking around is making it worse, but I don't really see that I have a choice. Stuff needs doing, and nobody's home to do it but me.
I want to finish writing a letter today and get a package ready to mail. I need to do some more laundry and the grocery list. I have a lot of emails I want to answer. I also want to get back to working on that pinch hit. I know there were some other things I wanted to do, but they’ve vanished from my mind right now.
Oh, yes— I want to read up on the OTW board candidates and decide who I’m going to vote for. I’ve had the Q&A page open for several days now. I’ve also got two volumes of manga that are due back at the library on Sunday. I can renew them, but that would embarrass me (even though only I would know) because each one will take less than half an hour to read. I also have several things I’ve started watching and want to finish. One, I’ve only got ten to fifteen minutes left of.
And Yuletide nominations are open. I’m still dithering about Yuletide, but I’m leaning toward doing it because it would probably make me write something that isn’t darkfic. I have twenty two fandoms that I’m considering nominating. Some of them are things that I expect other people will nominate, and a couple are things I’ve requested and gotten in the past.

Normally, I struggle to narrow mine down, but this year, I don't yet have a solid three. So weird.
