the_rckI got my absentee ballot application done, all but the stamp. I’m not sure yet if I’m going to try to get it in the mail tomorrow or wait until Monday when I’ll be downtown for an appointment. The bus station is on the same block as the post office, so it won’t be far out of my way, and I three other things to mail, two of which will need me to talk to a clerk.
I have not quite finished the Social Security forms. I’ve just reached the point where my mind goes blank when I look at questions. Right now, I’m trying to remember what side effects I get from different medications that I take regularly, and I’m just not processing the words. Too much stress. I’m giving myself the weekend to finish, and I’ll mail those in from the post office on Monday, too. I’m kind of tempted to print off and include my previous post, just minus the stuff about pizza.
Naturally, the pizza place-- Cottage Inn-- messed up our order. I ordered a specialty pizza that’s supposed to have ranch dressing instead of pizza sauce. It came with pizza sauce. Scott had to go out again to pick up a replacement (which I suspect of having no sauce at all, but at least I can eat that) which was, fortunately, free.
I think the medication is helping the anxiety, but it’s also making me kind of unfocused and groggy which I don’t think it’s supposed to do. Of course, it’s hard to tell how much of that is the medication and how much is the last week catching up with me.
Scott’s currently scheduled to work 3-7 tomorrow morning and then not at all for the rest of the weekend. I want to go to bed when he does, but Cordelia’s out, and one of us needs to be awake when she gets in.
