Sep. 13th, 2016 08:23 pmI really, really want chocolate. Or something else sweet if I can’t have chocolate. We have apple pie and vanilla ice cream, but I’m very unenthusiastic about both. Neither have much flavor/character.
Scott has said that he is absolutely not going out for anything tonight, though, not even the prescription I need filled. I’m pretty frustrated about the prescription because, short of taking a cab out there, there isn’t a good way for me to fill it myself.

Date: 2016-09-16 11:12 pm (UTC)It's not that either apple pie or vanilla ice cream are bad. They're just not what I wanted right then.

Date: 2016-09-14 12:35 am (UTC)I have chocolate here, but I also have... my stomach, and James can only have so much chocolate a day, so ironically the only person of us three who has absolute free reign over the chocolate here is Jason.

Date: 2016-09-14 05:35 pm (UTC)It's generally around $9 to $15 for delivery, with options for immediate, or 1-, 2-, or 3-hour delivery. And they're fine with "go to X place, pick up the package with Y name on it, and deliver it to Z place."
Usually cheaper than a cab. Though Uber will also do those kinds of deliveries in a pinch.

Our pharmacy does delivery but only for established prescriptions or prescriptions called in by a doctor. My psychiatrist only does paper prescriptions, so that means going in physically to hand the stupid thing to the pharmacist.

And if I'm being what Making Light calls "hlepy," feel free to tell me to stop.

The other local services I found don't do pick up for 'medical' things or are aimed at transporting things much farther than across town or specialize in large items like furniture.
