Trying to find the right temperature for sleeping is hard. The time of year doesn’t help much because the outside temperature is so variable. It got up to 76F in here by bedtime last night, so we slept with the fan on. It worked okay until about 6 a.m. I haven’t actually managed to nap since I started taking the Zoloft, so I haven’t had that as an option to catch up on sleep.
I’m pretty sure that the Zoloft is making me clench and grind my teeth at night, more than I do normally. I wear a bite splint, and usually, that and prescription sensitivity toothpaste keep my teeth from getting painfully sensitive, but something’s changed in the last couple of weeks. I’m very sensitive to cold foods right now. If it gets worse, I’ll start getting pain from anything warmer than tepid and anything sweet. I’ve been okay on that front for more than a year maybe even two or three years.
If the Zoloft ends up helping the anxiety, I can probably deal with all of the side effects I’ve had so far, but I’m not pleased with them, not at all.
I need to start logging my sleep, so that I have a clearer idea of how many times I wake. Maybe Scott will loan me his fitbit? I also need to start a food log again. I’ll be seeing the psychiatrist on the 13th and the nutritionist on the 28th
I still have red rash under my right eye. It doesn’t itch, so I hesitate to call it eczema, but I have no other word. I also can’t think what might cause that under one eye and not the other. It’s not a Zoloft side effect because it started before I even got that prescription. Fortunately, as I said, it doesn’t itch. It’s also not swelling at all. It just looks terrible.
Scott and I went out about 8 last night to go to Kroger for a few things he’d forgotten and to hack some portals. There are several nearby level 7 portals, and I wanted to hack them while they were there because Saturday night tends to be when the other side comes and knocks things over. As it happens, they didn’t last night, but I expected them to. It started raining heavily as we left Kroger, so we didn’t venture further. We’d hoped to, but Scott could only just see to drive.
I have way too many library DVDs coming today. I timed things badly in terms of not realizing that a couple of holds on sets with waitlists would come in this week. I’m going to hope that nothing else comes in, DVD-wise, until after I’ve finished these. There’s one that probably will because I’m now first on the waitlist, but I think I’m safe on most everything else.
I’m getting one exercise DVD (which can’t be renewed), the first DVD in a BBC mystery series (which can be renewed), a set of five DVDs that I suspect I won’t be able to watch because the publisher doesn’t tend to put on captioning (this is something I tried before in an earlier edition and couldn’t follow because everyone mumbled), the first season set of a show I’ve seen before that I hope will be good background noise, another set in the Great Courses series which I know will be good background noise (and has a four week check out period), a random movie that looked interesting (and can be renewed), and a movie that I thought Scott might want to see. I still have two DVDs that I’ve renewed multiple times but haven’t yet watched.
I think I’m going to dedicate the time between now and when we go to the library to finishing some of the graphic novels I’ve got out. I’ve got five, and some of them ought to be relatively quick to finish if I can just make myself sit and read.

I suffer from the DVD tsunami, too. I don't know why they all come in at once.
