Nov. 13th, 2016 12:35 pmGot a call this morning from the Cancer Center genetics people. Everything they tested came back 'completely normal.' I'm assuming, given family history, that there's some genetic factor related to colon cancer that we have but that isn't yet known to be a problem.
But still, good news.
But still, good news.

Date: 2016-11-14 02:23 am (UTC)Colon cancer is actually very preventable/treatable as long as one gets frequent enough colonoscopies. Those aren't fun, but... better that than dying the way my grandmother did.
I just don't think that we'd have had three generations in a line like that with the actual cancer if there weren't some genetic factor.
