the_rckTwo of the players in my Wednesday Amber campaign got married the weekend after GenCon. It was a Unitarian Universalist service that I liked much better than what my cousin had done. The bride's older sister cried as she was trying to do her reading, so we could only understand about every third word, but even that seemed appropriate.
Scott had to work that day, so I went to the service with LunarGeography and her husband. We went to Borders between the service and the reception. I hadn't meant to buy anything, but I saw that they had one copy of Diana Wynne Jones' Witch's Business and had to get it (It's been a hole in my DWJ collection for years now, but the book's been out of print forever). When we got to the reception, Scott joined us. He wasn't feeling all that well (He emerged from GenCon with a really nasty cold and is still battling the cough) but managed to survive a few hours.
