Sep. 26th, 2002 06:02 pmSaturday evening, I ran the second session of my new White Wolf campaign. I hadn't finished reading any of the books on Italy that I'd gotten from the public library, but it turned out not to matter too much. The players were pretty accommodating in terms of sticking mainly with interacting with each other, and I got to tweak a couple of character disadvantages a little.
It would appear that I now have fifth player for that game. She's someone that two of my players know because she's sat in on one of their games. I just met with her today, and she decided to make a werewolf. She doesn't know anything at all about any of White Wolf's games (although she did realize while I was explaining vampires that there might, just maybe, be a connection with the tv show Kindred: the Embraced...), but I can work around that pretty easily. Her gaming experience started years ago with Palladium, so she's not afraid of numbers, so I was able to hand her a couple of books and send her home to hammer out her character points. I think, I hope, that she'll work out well.
