Feb. 12th, 2003 08:17 pmWell, I've now officially changed my e-mail address on the website and mailing lists. The old address no longer exists as part of our account (I suppose someone else could grab it; I don't know how long Earthlink holds old addresses out of circulation).
I've also now posted parts 3 and 4 of "Rheotaxis." I'm not completely certain that this version of part 4 is what I'll keep, but I don't expect that I'll make major changes. Well, not unless the feedback I get suggests that such changes are necessary.

Date: 2003-02-13 08:36 am (UTC)Every so often, Earthlink will have a glitch that causes our static IP address to reset to something new (we pay extra for the stupid thing so it's very annoying), and then we have to reset a few things. Of course, usually when that happens, we can't see the website from our machines either.
Anyway, if it happens to you on any other occasion, please e-mail me about it (the new address is pretty much the same as the old, just with an underline between the two parts of the name instead of running them together) because we may not know, and the sooner someone tells us the sooner my husband can work on fixing it. (That's the downside of doing our own hosting-- There's no one else we can rely on to fix problems.)
