I noticed this afternoon that Delia's very nearly outgrown one of her outfits. I need to go through the dresser and pull out the stuff we know is too small. There are some tee shirts that she won't be wearing again because they're just too hard to get over her head. I'm still sorting through clothes, though. I never got to organize them; other helpful people did it for me, and now I'm not sure where to find things that aren't immediately obvious.

Delia's case of cradle cap is getting steadily worse. It's a good thing I know what it is-- Otherwise, I'd be panicking about the crusty stuff on her scalp. As it is, I'm just waiting as patiently as I can for it to start loosening. I'm a little more worried about the rash on her neck, but it seems to be mostly due to the fact that her neck seldom gets much air. The dry skin that flakes off builds up, and drool and excess milk seep in. It doesn't sound to me like a good combination. Sadly, she doesn't like letting either me or Scott clean her neck.

We've taken to referring to her pacifiers as "mouth toys." There are times when she just wants something to suck on but isn't hungry. On those occasions, she gets really, really pissed off over getting milk from my breast. It's frustrating because her "I want something to suck on" signals are much the same as her "Hey, I'm hungry!" signals. I just try feeding her first to see if it helps and then resort to other things. Sometimes, she'd rather have my knuckle than the pacifier, and sometimes it goes the other way. I prefer the pacifier because then I'll at least have one hand free (not to mention that getting gnawed on isn't always comfortable).
