Jul. 28th, 2003 01:54 pmDelia's grown long enough that we're trying the 3-6 month clothes on her. They're huge, but the 0-3 month stuff has mostly gotten too short (while remaining baggy). We're having to try things on her and see what works. She hates that, naturally, but there's not much choice. Neither Scott nor I has an eye for size. Maybe we'll develop the skill, but I suspect that I, at least, will continue clueless. I still can't tell by looking what's close to fitting me, after all.
Delia's also still spending a lot of her evenings and afternoons awake. She's generally pretty grouchy by the time Scott gets home, but she still won't do more than nap for 10-20 minutes at a time. Her night time sleep is much different, deeper and harder to disturb. She's still sleeping mostly in her car seat, but I don't know how much longer she can do that. She naps a bit in her swing or in our arms. We're working on encouraging her to sleep other places without a lot of success. She really seems to prefer sleeping just a bit sitting up.

Date: 2003-07-28 11:53 am (UTC)Corinne loves to try on clothes. I think it is because from the very beginning we tried to make it a game to put things over her head. She enjoys the "Where's the baby? - There she is" game. We just moved up to 3-6 month clothes and one day I spent the afternoon trying on all her new clothes. I could not believe what a sport she was :)
