I have a couple of welts on my arms that have produced blisters. I first noticed the redness last night. The blisters appeared today. It looks a lot like I burned my arms, and I've notice a few much smaller red spots. I'm afraid they may blister, too.

I have no idea what's caused this or what to do about it besides wait. Scott thinks it's from the weeding I did on Wednesday. I'm not so sure about that because I'd expect that to produce problems on my hands. I didn't wear gloves, so everything I pulled up touched my hands. Of course, I washed my hands several times. I didn't think to wash my arms. I don't know what I could have pulled up that would give this sort of trouble. It was ninety percent rue with some clover and catnip and dandelions thrown in.

I should probably call my sister-in-law and ask her if she's having any problems. She wore gloves, but her arms were as unprotected as mine.

Rue is actually famous for causing rashes -- and it seems really unpredictable, because people may touch it one day with no problem, and get a vicious rash the next time.
