the_rckIt seems that the new guy who was supposed to join the writers' group has decided against it. I missed the meeting, but Chris tells me that she suspects that it was the discussion of her NC-17 Deep Space 9 fics that put him off. I'm actually pleased because I didn't much like the look of the bit of story he sent out. It read as a "I've played D&D, so I can write a fantasy epic" bit of junk. He named his main character "Gygaxinor," for goodness sake!
Sigh... Maybe I'm being too hard on him. I only read the first three paragraphs after all.
With regard to my own writing, I've gotten some bits and pieces done. I've written more for the Estet game than I have on "Rheotaxis." Well, I suppose if I count the rewrites and editing I did on part 9 today that I've done more "Rheotaxis," but I'm not sure I do count it. It's not new work, after all.
